just some thoughts on boring friday night.

two months passed since i arrived at Cairo International Airport (with heavy heart so impassionately that it could almost hit the ground, embed and engrave) on 11th of October last month with dearest friends Saly, Iffah and Sarah, also few seniors. a new semester so far has been...okay. i wouldnt complaint no matter how tempted it is to do that. the mid term exam we had few weeks ago was so out of the box and i wouldnt complaint this either. i didnt get to attend my brother's wedding on January because some stupid practicle exams get in the way and i'm still not complaining. well, maybe a little..but not on this post. and i have no freaking idea about what is it that's sent me the urge to write, type, whatever this blog after almost two months of haven't done so. sometimes i wonder where all of my enthusiasm of writting a blog has gone to. but i'm trying my best to update it this time. so, let's be happy?
so, the next mid term exam is like, hurm... four days away. even though i've put the temperature above the boiling point to stir up the study spirit again but my attempts to elimate this procrastination habit in me turned out totally futile. time wearing on and almost running out, but it seemed to have very little effect on me. and the motivation Niza gave was not helping in any way, (thanks anyway babe). today i read about Pathology and found me too pushing myself. so i stopped. i dont like to push myself. i'm not cramming, of course. but i got burned out easily. i can't maintain a high level of concentration for a long time or my mind will start wandering elsewhere. i study when i want to. but when i dont want to, i start rambling or scrawling emo lyrics on papers. i know i'm getting too laid back. but i wasn't like this back in highschool. i mean, of course i was not a study freak either. but i knew when to pull up my socks and study. but now i could be the best epitome of lazy when it comes to studying. honestly speaking, medicine is never my thing. i accepted this scholar and came here because of my family (grandpa and daddy). but i know, things will change eventually. i know my dad, he knows the best.
so, after the mid term exam, we will have break for a week. yay! but something disappointing about this, my brother in Za'aziq can't come to Alex during the break. because he's got no visa, so he can't travel anywhere. poor u. but i think i'll come down there, in god's will. btw, i called home few days ago. and dang!! the new flash is my brother in Aussie returned home without anyone's acknowledgement about it, for five days. oh my my. a remarkable story about an unexpected return from abroad. how surprising -_-". but now i think he's already back in Aussie. oh, speaking of Aussie, my fav band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will be heading down to Brisbane, Australia. and Brisbane is where my brother currently reside. but sadly, the concert is on 21st of Febuary so i cant come. if it's on July or August i probably will have a chance to go because actually me, siblings and cousins are having plan to go to Aussie during my next summer break. so heck, another disappointment.
anyway, enough reminiscing about my *exhilarating* life and i'm getting back to it, in the reality world. oh by the way, i need the BEST BEST BEST of luck for my upcoming exam. because i'm like so, so, so not prepared and...just pray for me, ok? miracle happens. (if i'm lucky enuf, i mean).
